Taylor Swift has surprised us once again with a new album titled ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ after a countdown to August 12, 12:12am EST appeared on her site.
Diligent fans caught the change fast. As the clock struck 12:12am EST, the Swift site experienced so much traffic, it took minutes to fully load the star’s latest project.
While the newest release doesn’t have any details on the site apart from pre-order, there was an estimated wait time of almost an hour for the Girly Pop to get a copy.
The album release comes a few hours after Swift and Travis Kelce announced a guest appearance on Kelce’s podcast “New Heights” with the same background. Moments after the release, the podcast posted a collab post with Swift announcing the new album on the latest episode.
The ‘Lover’ artist has since changed her Instagram photo in true Taylor fashion to the lock logo with green and orange colors— appearing to be the album’s official theme.
‘The Life of a Showgirl’ will be Swift’s 12th studio album, announced 12.12 at 12:12… You could say she’s a Mastermind.
