It’s a love story, and Taylor Swift officially said yes.
Taylor Swift is entering her engaged era as the award-winning singer and songwriter announces the news of her and Travis Kelce’s engagement via Instagram on August 26.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Swift wrote on Instagram under stunning photos of her with Kelce as he proposed in a garden filled with flowers. The post was featured on Swift’s story with none other than “So High School” as the music of choice— a tribute to her time with Kelce.
The announcement comes just weeks after Swift released the news of her upcoming 12th studio album “The Life of a Showgirl” on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
Kelce and Swift have been an item since 2023 after Kelce attended the Eras Tour with a friendship bracelet to woo the singer with his phone number beaded through it. Since then, dating rumors sparked in September 2023 after Kelce invited Swift to a Chiefs game.
The post, now having over 4.4 million likes, sparked immense excitement from fans of both Kelce and Swift’s “Love Story.”
